Mack’s Lure Highlights the Puyallup, Washington, Sportsmen’s Show
The Puyallup, Washington, Sportsmen’s Show, held January 28 through February 1, once again proved why it is one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier outdoor events. Anglers from across the region packed the Washington State Fair Events Center to explore the latest gear, connect with industry experts, and soak in five full days of fishing-focused education and excitement.
Among the many vendors in attendance, Mack’s Lure stood out as a major attraction throughout the show. With a strong presence on the show floor, Mack’s Lure brought both innovation and experience, led by Bobby Loomis alongside an impressive lineup of Pro Staff members, including Richy Harrod, Eric Magnuson, Jim Davis, Shelby Ross, Jaime Rodriguez, and Brianna Bruce.
“The Puyallup show is always special to us,” said Loomis. “It’s a chance to connect face-to-face with anglers who are passionate about fishing and eager to learn. The energy here every year is outstanding.”

These hands on demonstrations helped anglers better understand fish behavior and fine-tune their approach for greater success on the water. “The Walleye Tank really lets people see what’s happening below the surface,” Loomis explained. “When anglers can watch how fish respond to small changes in speed or lure action, it clicks and that knowledge carries straight to the water.”
In addition to the tank, Mack’s Lure Pro Staff members delivered a full slate of well attended seminars throughout the event. Covering a wide range of topics from walleye tactics and trolling strategies to seasonal patterns and gear selection the seminars offered valuable, practical insights for anglers of all experience levels. The Pro Staff’s willingness to answer questions and share real world knowledge made each session both educational and engaging.
Visitors to the Mack’s Lure booth also had the chance to meet the Pro Staff one-on-one, discuss regional fisheries, and get expert advice tailored to local waters. Whether attendees were seasoned anglers or newcomers to the sport, the Mack’s Lure team made a point of creating a welcoming, informative environment.
