The We are Outdoorsmen Podcast was created by outdoorsmen, for outdoorsmen. It’s presented by Harrod Outdoors and Mack’s Lure and features outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Hosts Richy Harrod and Bob Loomis bring with them over 60 years of experience in the hunting and fishing industry. Each new episode focuses on tips and tactics, features interviews with outdoor experts across the United States and Canada and provides strategies for outdoorsmen of all skill levels. New episodes are posted every other week on Tuesday and can be found on Podbean, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, and other audio apps.
The podcast launched in October of 2020. At that time, Britton Ransford joined Bob and Richy as producer and cohost. The first few episodes were conversations among the trio about their in season hunting and fishing exploits. Guests were slowly added and by the start of 2022, guests became a regular feature of each episode. To date, there have been over 70 guests, professionals in the outdoor industry, that have leant their voice to the discussion.
We said goodbye to Britton Ransford on the 75th episode and since then, Bob and Richy have carried on the tradition of talking about the latest hunting and fishing opportunities in the PNW and welcoming our knowledgeable guests. On November 14th, 2024, the 100th episode was posted! The episode was recorded in Wenatchee in front of a small crowd of past guests and loyal listeners. It was a wonderful celebration, and we can’t thank our listeners and guests enough.
The holiday season will be a bit busy, but we are looking forward to more great guests and topics for 2025.
