Kokanee fishing is a favorite pastime of The Northwest Outdoorsmen. Trolling is the usual method but the guys have also jigged through the ice or casted in open water.

Eastern Washington was the setting, the wildfire smoke turned the sunset orange, and the Kokanee were snappy after sundown.
