September Photo of the Month Winner

This month’s winning photo captures a special multigenerational moment:  Lonnie and his 10-year-old granddaughter Skylar proudly holding a 4 lb sockeye caught on August 5, 2025, at Lake Wenatchee. Using a dialed-in setup featuring a Mack’s Lure Sling Blade and three Barber’s red hooks, the family worked as a team: Skylar’s mother managed the downriggers while her great-grandfather piloted the boat.

Lonnie’s photo is more than a great fishing shot—it’s a celebration of family, tradition, and teamwork. The Mack’s Lure Photo of the Month contest honors everyday anglers who rely on Mack’s gear to bring their fishing stories to life. Each monthly winner receives a $20 Mack’s Lure gift certificate and is automatically entered into our Photo of the Year competition, where the grand prize winner takes home a Mack’s Lure hat and a $100 gift certificate.
